Who can you meet at Meet Central Europe?

Meet Central Europe is a conference for language professionals, this year focusing on vendor management (i.e. liaison with translators and interpreters) and field-related pitfalls.

At its first edition last year in Budapest we were represented by our colleague Gabriela. You can read her report here. 
This year’s edition is being held in Prague, the City of a Hundred Spires, and our agency will be dispatching an entire team of four fantastic women to attend. Judge for yourselves:

• they boast more than 54 years’ experience in the translation industry;
• they drink at least 30 cups of coffee weekly;
• they climb 57 stairs every day to get to their office;
• they can speak 8 languages;
• they have visited more than 70 countries, and;
• most importantly, they can’t wait for this year’s edition of MCE to start and look forward to seeing you there!

Gabriela Kadlecová – Vendor Manager

I have served in various roles during the six years I have worked with translating agencies. I began as a freelance translator and later worked as a vendor manager, and I loved every bit of both of these jobs. Currently buried in vendor automation processes, I’m looking forward to another inspirational MCE event, and I can’t wait to meet some like-minded fellow-translators and vendors, share some of our best practices and discuss the challenges we face every day.

I have been working in the translation industry for more than 20 years and over that time I have met so many wonderful colleagues I can´t even remember their names.
