Website translations

Perfect-quality translations of your website will help you successfully open new markets.
The translations of your websites into a foreign language (English, German, Spanish, French or Russian) are always done by native speakers, because your website is your showcase and will determine the success or failure of your business plans.

3 most common ways in which websites are translated

1. Using a CMS connector

Your website is translated via a CMS connector. Compared to previous methods, this is a perfectly smooth and user-friendly process. Our translation studio is able to connect to a number of content management systems, such as WordPress or Drupal.
This makes it easy to get the texts onto the translator’s desk without the need for manual copying or exporting. Likewise, it is possible to automate the process of your website updates.

2. Using source files

Your role in this process is much easier. All you have to do is ask your webmaster to provide us with the source files of your web presentation. The following formats are ideal: HTML, XML, XLIFF, PO, PHP, ASP or FLA.
We will translate the files and deliver them to you in the same format. This is a much less difficult process but still requires the data to be exported and imported manually.

3. Using text copy

You can also manually copy all texts for translation from your website and send them to us in MS Word, MS Excel or a similar format. This procedure is quite lengthy, requires manual work and is thus prone to errors. But sometimes there’s no other way.

More about website translations

Why should only 12.5 million Czech-speaking potential customers read about your product or service when there could be so many more? “Work hard, dream big,” says the English motto, indirectly suggesting that your website should be translated.

If you feel that your website has the potential to attract non-Czech audiences, have it professionally translated by us. You will gain international presence and reach new customers.

Quality translations of your website into other languages (English, German, Spanish, French or Russian) also help you present yourself as a business open to the world, are an important part of your image and an online ticket to international markets.

Don’t wait until the Czech Republic is too small for you and contact our project managers for a quote in time!

The same applies if you need your website to be translated from a foreign language into Czech. We can also translate websites between two foreign languages. None of this is a problem.

FAQ – What are you most often interested in?

If you have had some documents translated before and you consider them to be correct, we can reuse them to your advantage. However, we will need to be provided with both the original and its translation, ideally in an identical format.

For a small fee, we will import all your previous translations into the translation memory we create for you.

The more translations there are in our database, the more likely it is that some passages of the new texts for translation will match those that have already been translated, which will lead to considerable cost savings.
